we have added the courtyard house to our cottages at Houndridge. Ideal for larger groups of friends and family. Guests who stayed in 2006 are all coming back in 2007!!

 Houndridge Courtyard Cottage is a lovely rambling spacious house ideal for the larger party so why not arrange a holiday with family of friends?. The house has seven bedrooms in total and can sleep up to twelve persons.  

On arriving there is ample parking in the courtyard. On entering there is a small  porch  for coats and shoes and you will pass the spacious shower room. The door in front of you  leads to the second lounge with wonderful views of the Cheviot hills.  Ideal place to sit and read or listen to music. On the right of the  porch is the suite with a sitting area leading through a door to a bathroom, small double bedroom and a small twin room.  On the left of the porch is the dining and lounge area with a table that will accommodate twelve leading to the main lounge area.  The lounge/dining area with a bay window has  wood flooring, coal effect gas fire or additional warmth and you can relax in comfort on one of the leather chairs and enjoy  the fantastic panoramic view of the Cheviots.  Colour satelite TV. DVD.Stereo.   The lounge leads to the spacious kitchen with breakfast area and patio windows look out onto the garden and patio area and again the amazing view! The kitchen is well equipped with modern conveniences - large range cooker -gas hob and electric fan oven. Microwave, toaster, kettle,  fridge freezer pus another fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of pots, pans dishes, glasses.

Upstairs are five bedrooms- one double, two twin and two single bedrooms.  The master ensuite bedroom with double bed  has an ensuite bathroom- shower over bath, wc, wash hand basin, bidet and enjoys the  panoramic views of the Cheviots. A very spacious twin bedroom (2 single beds) and a single bedroom  also enjoy the amazing views.   A smaller twin bedroom and a single bedroom look onto the courtyard. Shared bathroom with bath (shower attachment for washing hair only) wc and wash hand basin

  Private garden with large conservatory. Picturesque bridge over the pond (The pond area is fenced for safety) . Ample parking in the courtyard.
