The original farmhouse was converted to provide holiday accommodation. It comprises of Courtyard House and the Courtyard Apartment . The main section is Courtyard House , a holiday cottage providing self catering accommodation, sleeps up to nine people at Houndridge Farm, by Kelso. a lovely town in South East Scotland yet only 48 miles from Edinburgh. The Courtyard Apartment is being renovated and currently not available to rent.

The panoramic views of the Cheviot hills from Courtyard are greatly admired and it is popular with golfers, fishermen and family gatherings. Several events have been held at Courtyard Farmhouse including - a wedding, birthday party, anniversary, christening and musicians event
